The south coast offers miles of spectacular, safe, sandy beaches, tempting you to linger in seaside coves, picturesque coastal villages or lively cosmopolitan seaside resorts. Take a Sunseeker charter from Southampton, the home (in the golden era) of the famous transatlantic liners The Queen Mary and The Queen Elizabeth.
As you leave Southampton, the New Forest provides a beautiful backdrop as you make your way along the coast, towards Bournemouth, with its seven miles of sandy beaches. Water sports also abound along the south coast in resorts such as Poole, Swanage and Weymouth. Why not mix coast and countryside with a visit to the New Forest?
The beautiful open countryside provides an idyllic setting for the area’s small towns and villages. Lyndhurst is home to the New Forest Museum which portrays the history of the area. Nearby, on the coast at Lymington, quaint cobbled streets and the hustle and bustle of the quayside make this a delightful place to explore.
Beaulieu, in the heart of the New Forest is the ancestral home of the Montague family – it’s open to the public, with one of its many attractions being the famous National Motor Museum, housing hundreds of vehicles, past and present.
Whatever you’re seeking, the south coast has it in abundance.
